As the first wave of baby boomers turn 65 this year, the senior care industry is rapidly becoming one of the fastest-growing franchise businesses. According to a recent study from the Pew Research Center, over the next 19 years about 10,000 people will turn 65 each day, resulting in a grayer America by 2030. This statistic, coupled with the demand for less-expensive, out of the hospital care has been drawing new people to the senior care franchise segment which was initially established by Interim HealthCare in 1966.”We are delighted to welcome Bill and Jill into the Interim HealthCare family,” said Kathleen Gilmartin, CEO of Interim HealthCare. “The growing elderly population and expanded home care market is becoming a great niche for those interested in franchising, helping us to expand our reach and help those in need.”
